For the project you put your work into

Sell your website.
Give it its next chapter.

Maybe a new idea is already tickling you. And your existing website could be exactly the start someone else is looking for.

Updated:

Send us the website’s address and a few details. You set the price, and we review the project and prepare how it is presented to buyers. Listing is free, with no extra costs for you.

Two things matter most to us

Which website can you sell?
One that is already online.

At prodajasajtova.com we sell established websites that already exist online. Your project can be brand new or have years of work behind it. Age can affect the price, but it is not a condition for listing on our platform — what matters here is that the website has a public address, so we can open it and see how it works.

First condition

An existing, accessible website

The website has to be online and load normally. A business website, a portal or another finished web project can find a place among our websites for sale.

Second condition

A tidy look and working features

Elements should sit where they belong, the content should be easy to follow, and the basic links and features should work. The buyer should see a website they can use and adapt to their business.

If the layout falls apart on a phone, important links lead nowhere or there are bigger faults, fix them with your developer first. A good first impression really works for you here. Templates, files for a future project and ads for web design services are not part of this offer: we present websites the buyer can already look at online.

Your project, your asking price

Who sets the price of the website? You.

As the seller, you set the price of your website yourself. State the amount and currency you want, so we can present the offer clearly from the first conversation. If you are still considering the amount, you can send the application and confirm the price before the website is listed. What matters is that the buyer understands exactly what they get for the money. And the listing? It is free — we add the website to the listings without charge and with no extra costs for the seller.

SEO, speed and the project’s history affect its value. Google rankings carry special weight, and often have the biggest influence on the asking price: a website that already reaches interested people has a head start. Data on traffic, enquiries and results you can back up with analytics is useful too.

A website’s value and the conditions for listing are two different things

Good SEO results and top performance are an advantage, not a condition for applying. A new website can be listed too. The basis is that it is accessible, tidy and working; search results and speed help determine what it is worth.

When there is more behind the website

You are selling a website.
And the business that grew with it?

You can also offer the business together with the website. In that case, describe in as much detail as possible what you do and everything included in the sale: the brand, content, equipment, way of working or other elements you want to hand over to the buyer. Data on revenue and costs that you can back up, on obligations and on the future owner’s role is especially useful.

An offer like that deserves more than the sentence “business for sale”. The more clearly you explain how everything works, the more easily a buyer sees where they could continue your story. We are first and foremost a platform for selling websites, so selling a business here is only possible together with an existing website that is part of the offer.

If you would like to sit down and go through the details, say so in your message. We can arrange a meeting and work out together how best to present the business through the listing for your website. Sometimes one coffee raises more useful questions than ten emails.

From your application to the listings

How do you sell a website?
You send it, we review it, we present it.

  1. You send a request

Add the website through your account, or leave the website’s address, your contact details and a short description in the application below. If you are selling the business too, describe it in as much detail as you can.

  2. We look at the website and get in touch

We review the look, accessibility and features. We will probably call you for a bit more explanation, unless you call us first.

  3. We publish the agreed offer

Once the website meets the conditions and we have clarified the price and what the sale includes, we prepare its presentation and add it to our listings free of charge.

In your application, also mention who maintains the website, if that is not something you handle yourself. It helps when agreeing later changes and the handover. Have a look at what buying a website looks like, too, so you know what a future buyer will be interested in.

A few of the right details are enough

Let’s meet your website.

Prefer to talk? Send a short application below, and we will work out the details together. Fields marked with an asterisk are required.

The public address where we can look at the website.

You set the price. You can also give it after the first conversation.

What are you selling?

Say what is included in the sale, who maintains the website and the results you want to highlight. If you are selling the business too, add as much detail as you can.

Applying and listing are free. We use your details to review the application and talk to you; the listing follows once we agree.

A few more answers for sellers

Questions about selling a website.
Clear next steps.

How much does it cost to list a website?

Nothing. Listing a website is free and there are no extra costs for sellers. You set the price, and we review the website, prepare the listing and present it to buyers.

Can I sell a brand-new website?

Yes. The website can be new or have years of history behind it. What matters is that it is already online, open for review and tidy enough for a buyer to use.

Are good Google rankings a condition for listing?

Google rankings, SEO and high performance are not conditions for listing. A tidy website that loads properly can be part of the offer. Good results on Google can significantly increase its value.

What design and features should the website have?

The website should look tidy, display its content properly, and its basic links and features should work. If elements fall out of the layout or there are bigger faults, you will need to fix them before listing.

Who sets the price of my website?

You do, as the seller. You can state the amount in your application or agree it before the website is listed. We go through the information that will help the buyer understand the offer and the value of the project.

Can I sell the business along with the website?

Yes. Choose “Website and business” and describe in detail what is included in the sale. We can also arrange a meeting to present the offer better. Selling a business on this platform is tied to an existing website that is part of the offer.

Can I offer a template or a web design service?

The platform is meant for established websites that already exist online. Templates, unfinished projects that are not online and ads for web design services do not belong in this kind of sale.

What happens after I send the request?

We review the website you submitted, and then, if needed, we get in touch to clarify the price and what the offer includes. Once we confirm the website meets the conditions and we agree the details, we add it to the listings.
